I thought my first paper on the topic of voting went fairly well. I intended to primarily focus on the 'young vote' but I thought it was important to understand and looking at voting as a whole first. In doing so, I found that the importance of voting should not simply be stressed on young people but people of all ages. Oddly enough, I also found it somewhat difficult to find good source material. One would think that there would be a plethora of articles on voting seeing as the election is almost at its climax. However, I could not really find as many good sources as I hoped. I am not sure if it's the way I am researching or what. When I searched about voting in the databases there was just way too many articles that were off topic. Regardless I was still able to find sufficient source material to explain the significance of voting and some on young voters and college students.
